When did you join Bond Davidson?
I joined BD in 2008, I was looking for greater exposure to the complete project cycle, in particular a greater understanding of Project Monitoring. Bond Davidson offered the opportunity to not only continue working as a PM/QS but also the added role of Project Monitoring, which I felt would increase my exposure to the precontract feasibility phase.
Do you have any career highlights?
I would say working on Monument Place, a 10 storey building opposite Sir Christopher Wren’s The Monument. The project comprised the demolition of the existing building whilst retaining the existing foundations and retaining walls to construct 7,500sqm of Grade A commercial office property.
What keeps you motivated?
I enjoy the industry as a whole, it’s very alive and constantly evolving. Within Project Monitoring you are at the forefront of what is happening in the market regarding trends and cycles, therefore we get an early feel for the market changes and I find this exciting.
What keeps you busy at the weekends?
Being a dad is what keeps me busy, time well spent.
