When and why did you join Bond Davidson?
I joined Bond Davidson in 2008, having spent the previous 3 years working for a building surveying practice. Having developed my core building experience it was time to look for more challenging pastures, the obvious choice to me was Bond Davidson.
What did you do before Bond Davidson?
My experience was primarily focused on the private residential market completing pre-acquisition surveys, party wall awards, dilapidations claims, using AutoCAD for planning and building control applications as well as acting as a Contract Administrator on various extensions and refurbishments.
Do you have a career highlight?
There are two that stand out; achieving my RICS Chartered status through years of hard work and support at Bond Davidson and my promotion to an Associate position at Bond Davidson.
The opportunities and responsibilities greatly increased once I had achieved Chartered status and it provided a great platform to develop my career further.
What keeps you motivated?
As an Associate within a young dynamic team I find the variety in projects keeps me motivated and allows me to continuously build my knowledge. The projects I work on at Bond Davidson range across all the industry sectors; allowing me to work with private and commercial clients in a variety of roles using differing construction methods and values.
What keeps you busy on weekends?
Most of my time is spent with friends and family. I do play and follow football to at least try and stay reasonably fit.
