When did you join Bond Davidson?
I joined the company in 2001 and at the time, although the potential was clear, I never really envisaged we would achieve the growth we have since joining but clearly very delighted and proud to have been a part of that for so long.
What keeps you motivated?
The volume and diversity of our workload accompanied by a great team culture within the business. Also the numerous challenges and rewards you face in management on a personal as well as professional basis.
Do you have a career highlight?
Becoming a Director and fronting the Project Monitoring Team. In terms of projects probably the successful delivery of an office scheme where the existing building was stripped back to the concrete frame (original 1930’s multi-storey car park) and had an extremely tight completion with extensive penalties if we missed any dates (one being partial handover on New Year’s Eve).
What do you get up to on weekends?
Both my children are following their mum musically so on Saturday we all attend a music school where my wife teaches, the kids study and I read the sports pages…….., which means Sunday has become rather precious for family time. Oh and I’m still a roadie for my son and his drum kit.
