Following last year’s clash for the title, another fantastic season sees both sponsored rugby teams back in the same league as Tonbridge Juddian’s are promoted to the National League 2 South to join London Irish Wild Geese.

Adam Hookway, Vice President of Tonbridge Juddian’s stated:

1st XV secured promotion to N2 South for the first time in their history with a 29-41 away win at Southend before beating Sidcup 3-62 in the Cup Final.

The league title was effectively won with a game to spare with TJs having lost just once all season. Wimbledon chased them all the way and they too are promoted after winning their play-off game.

The League and Cup double is a fitting reward for the squad, coaches and supporters who have worked tirelessly all season to make both a reality.

Everyone at TJs recognises that without the support of Sponsors such as Bond Davidson none of this would have been possible.

London Irish Wild Geese Team Manager Adrian Mulleady stated:

The Wild Geese finished the season just above the relegation zone, by gaining a bonus point for 4 trys against league promotion playoff contenders Chinnor RFC.

They will now have the chance to regroup and look to strengthen their squad for next season, after battling hard with one of the leagues smaller squads and getting key results when it mattered.

Bond Davidson are delighted to sponsor local associations and give back to the community.  Being official sponsors of both rugby teams for over five years, we are thrilled to see the progression within both clubs and look forward to see what exciting fixtures the next season will bring.
