Grade 2 Newcastle Development rescued |
|
Tuesday, 07 October 2008 00:00 |
Bond Davidson have recently completed a complex job in Newcastle which has involved everything from project management to project monitoring, marketing and sales.

A £5m development of Grade 2 listed town houses in Newcastle City Centre was in trouble. Problems with listed building consent and planning approval, alongside construction issues, were causing delays in the programme and escalating costs. Bond Davidson were successful in persuading all parties to continue with the development and then in pushing the project through, to the extent that the scheme won Best Luxury Showhouse in the North East.
"This project demonstrates our flexibility and our intentions to maximise the value for the client rather than necessarily taking the easiest route," says Adrian Mulleady, Bond Davidson Director.

On Your Marks! - Porsche Driver Experience nears completion |

The Porsche Driver experience project at Silverstone is coming to a close with completion anticipated just before this weekends' Britsh Grand Prix.
BD are appointed Project Managers for the £7M project to build a test track (containing 4 separate circuits) and a 15,000 sqft circular building where Porsche will be able to host a totally new driving experience for their customers .
The project has taken a year to complete on site and been subject to a number of unusual influencing factors that are not the run of the mill issues - anti-slip surfacing requiring specific weather conditions, the involvement of the smallest parish council in the UK influencing the construction works and ultimately costing the client some £40,000, working within the boundary of a fully operational Grand Prix race circuit and of course dealing with the highest expectation of a client that represents worldwide acclaimed engineering and design quality.
