Bond Davidson, Gibraltar

Bond Davidson, Chartered Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers have been established since 1991 and trades as a limited company owned by the Directors.

Our head office is in Esher, Surrey; from our Gibraltar office we are at present providing Bank Monitoring and Project Management Services on projects in Gibraltar, Spain and the rest of Southern Europe.

Ninety percent of our Quantity Surveyors are Members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, our project managers are members of the UK APM or the international PMI. Approximately forty percent of our business is Development Monitoring for Banks and funds lending in property development, we are currently on the approved panel of over 20 major property lenders, including the major lenders in Gibraltar.

At present we have approximately 250 projects that we are active on. The aggregate construction value of these projects totals circa £1 billion; from Gibraltar we are monitoring well over £100 million. Project Construction values range between £1 million and £300 million. We are monitoring projects on some of the major construction projects on the Rock; we are also active in Spain.

We are managing numerous projects; noteworthy are the refurbishment of some very high value central London properties for private clients including a single dwelling refurbishment with a construction cost in the order of £40 million together with several over £20 million. In Gibraltar we are managing a large private dwelling of very high specification for a private Client together with several other projects for various Clients.

We have significant in-house expertise both in Gibraltar and within our Esher office which we can call on to augment our Gibraltar operations. In Gibraltar, my colleague Francisco and I have been involved in some very high value international projects in such diverse areas as Residential/commercial, manufacturing facilities including oil and gas, infrastructure etc.

In Gibraltar we are well known for being involved in multi-million pound developments; however, we bring significant benefit to much smaller projects, even down to a single unit, by applying the same strict quality, cost and project management techniques. By utilising such proven techniques, the overall project is cost is reduced and the Client gains peace of mind by know that the project is being controlled by a Company with a wealth of experience in their field.
